Building Your Own Fine Art Portrait Studio

I have spent over ten years traveling around the globe and teaching my techniques to photographers of all levels and styles. I believe the key to successful learning is transparency, and showing how to grow your skills and stay motivated even in times of frustration. Mixing business and art can be daunting and we'll take a look at how to balance them both. My classes are designed not only to give you an in depth look at all of my lighting, posting and editing techniques, but also create a supportive environment where everyone can feel comfortable to get out of their comfort zone and have fun.

It's not enough anymore just to take good portraits or head shots. Clients want to be dazzled and see images that inspire them. It's your ability to distinguish your images from others in your market that will truly set you apart and keep you booked. Clients want works of art they can hang on their wall or print in a book.

My workshops focus on three major topics. We'll discuss the fundamentals of creating a successful photography bushiness. We'll discuss real tangible steps you can take to start growing your business. Of course, we'll spend the majority of the day shooting and creating images with a variety of lighting styles and easy-to-follow posing techniques. Then, we'll focus on editing in Photoshop and how to take your images to the next level. It's absolutely key to master each stage of the process to create successful photography business. My workshops are designed to help you get on track and overcome the obstacles that have been keeping you from reaching your full potential. My class is open to photographers of all levels and I welcome everyone from seasoned professionals to beginners who are just starting their journey.

“The workshop is ideal for the creative photographer creating standout images. You created an exciting and safe space for learning and engaging with photogs. This workshop creates lifelong friendships. I left far more knowledgeable, confident and ready to edit the numerous images captured over the two days. I schedule my own photoshoot to practice my learnings within 48 hrs. So glad I made the investment "
